Black Americana BAKELITE BUTTON DOLL Crib Toy Charm Pendant

Here is another one of my © Bakelite button dolls to wear. I have made many cats, but decided to make one in the style of the old Tykie Toys. She is BIG in personality, but small in size. She measures 3 in. including the large celluloid loop at the top of her head which you can put any size chain through of connect her to a celluloid linked chain. She is made from all vintage Bakelite and has hand painted detail. She has a Black Bakelite head and is wearing a red hat. Her body is also black as is her legs and feet. She has a butterscotch octagon neck and a scalloped flower shaped butterscotch skirt. Her arms consist of orange, brown, yellow, green and peach. She is in excellent condition except for a small chip on the back of her neck which you cannot see when she is worn. she is very cute and I know you will enjoy her if you get her..

Adorable Miniature Doll House BAKELITE SNOWMAN Celebrate Winter

Here is a cute bakelite snowman to celebrate the winter season. Crafted from bakelite beads, he sports a black top hat and a red gossamer scarf. He has hand painted detail and an orange wooden carrot shaped nose. Measures approx. 2 in. tall.

Injected Random Dot BAKELITE CAT PINS

These are 3 of my © creations designed with all vintage Bakelite parts... round roly poly cat pins in 2 sizes. Fantastic random injected polka dot body in a lime green and cream corn color, rust and cream corn and multicolored and cream corn. Two have cream corn colored heads and one has a butterscotch colored head., One has big green eyes and light olive green ears one has big orange eyes and dark green ears and the third has. big orange eyes and light olive green ears. The faces have hand painted detail. The little ones have cream corn dangling feet and a fuzzy black tails and the larger has rust colored dangling ball feet and a fuzzy orange rust tail. The small ones measures approx. 1 in. across and 2 in. from top of ears to bottom of feet. and the larger one measures . 2 in. across (head and body) and 3 1/2 in. from tip of tail to bottom of feet. They are all in purr-fect condition.

BAKELITE CAT NECKLACE 6 Charms

Here is a wonderful Bakelite necklace, a *** Very limited edition.*** creation of mine. Being a feline fanatic and a Bakelite lover, I truly love doing Bakelite cat designs. This one consists of 6 Bakelite cat faces all with hand painted detail which dangle from an 18 in. black plastic chain. They are connected to the necklace with black celluloid rings. In the one shown here the cat face colors are translucent butterscotch swirl with marbled brown ears, cream corn with translucent green blue ears, translucent brown with smokey blue gray ears, cherry red with translucent olive ears, solid opaque butterscotch with translucent green swirl ears and dark blue moon with opaque olive ears. The cat faces measure 7/8 in. in diameter. All cats are made with vintage 100% Bakelite parts. This is one purr-fectly wonderful necklace for the Bakelite and cat lover! . BAKELITE NECKLACE *CaT oN a FeNcE *

Here is really fantastic new design of mine that resembles the famous Martha Sleeper design *CaT oN a FeNcE *. This necklace is made completely from old Bakelite stock with hand painted detail and little leather tails..the disks measure 1 1/2 in. in diameter and the cats are 3 dimensional just like the original. This one is very colorful...the disks are opaque  butterscotch, translucent swirl butterscotch and red swirl. The cats are burnt orange, blue moon and a light green with yellow and brown marbling swirls. The disks hang from a 19 in. black plastic chain necklace. Condition is perfect. This one is for the Bakelite and cat lover!

BAKELITE 3 CATS NECKLACE or 3L’il Kittens

Here is a fabulous © design of mine using ALL Bakelite parts. The 3-D cats are laminated on the disks which are swirly translucent butterscotch, swirly cheery cherry red and opaque yellow orange. The disks dangle from the chain with vintage black celluloid loops. The black plastic chain measures 20 in. long. Bakelite cats are very hard to come by and now you can have the 3 LITTLE KITTENS grace your neck. Excellent condition.

Tiny Figural Realistic BAKELITE PURSE PIN

Here is a really cute teeny figural Bakelite pin of a purse . It has a little leather handle, painted detail with a rhinestone in the center as a faux closure. The little pin measures approx. 1 in. x 1/4 in. thick. Excellent condition. Available in red or yellow.

Multicolor BAKELITE HEARTS CHARM Dangle Pin Rare Colors

Here is a most beautiful Bakelite extra large hearts charm dangle pin using some rare colors. The beauty of the colors were difficult to capture in the picture...they are much more beautiful in person!! The rare small opaque pink heart is laminated on top of an XL opaque blue heart. A celluloid loop connects the hearts charm to a curved red bar pin which has a chartreuse flower with a dark green center decorating it. The dangle pin measures 2 in. long and the large heart measures 1 1/4 in. across at its widest point. Excellent condition. One of my new creations.

Tiny BAKELITE TREASURE POWDER BOX with Scotty Handle

Here is a wonderful tiny Bakelite box. This is one of my latest creations. The colors of the box are yellow and marbled dark blue with yellow swirl. On the top there is a standing scotty dog which has been sliced from a rod and polished back to it's original white color except on the edges it remains yellow with patina. In time, the dog will once again return to it's patina color of creamy corn yellow. Guaranteed all vintage Bakelite. It measures 1 1/2 in. in diameter and 2 1/2 in. high. You can use it for rings or small treasures or just for decoration...Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

BAKELITE CELLULOID GAME PIECES NECKLACE

Here is a wonderful colorful and very whimsical Bakelite and Celluloid necklace. It consists of 2 prystal green diamond shaped pieces, 2 Bakelite dice buttons, 2 celluloid or vintage plastic playing card charms (king of hearts and king of diamonds), 4 poker chips in 2 sizes and a really cool and colorful laminated black and cream Bakelite mahjong tile. These all dangle from a red celluloid/plastic chain which measures approx. 21 in. long. It closes with a silver S hook. Excellent condition. This is a wonderful one of a kind design to add to your collection.

TINY BAKELITE CRIB TOY CHARM DOLL PENDANT

Here is a wonderful multicolored Bakelite crib toy charm doll pendant. A new creation! The colors are swirly purple for the cone shaped body, bright cherry red and blue moon for the arms, orange/tan for the head, blue moon, olive green and red for the legs, cream corn for the feet and a brown hat. He has hand painted detail on his face and little buttons on his body. He is 2 1/2 in. tall including the large celluloid loop which you can put a chain or cord through. 2 Color Bakelite Geometric Dangling Bib Necklace

This original creation was designed using 2 different colors of Bakelite. They are bright primary colors of red and yellow in the shape of flat backed domed front rectangles. From the rectangle pieces hang Bakelite balls in the same 2 colors. The rectangles with the balls are 1 5/8 in. long. The pieces hang from a red plastic 20 in. chain. Wonderful design in excellent condition.

4 Color Bakelite Geometric Dangling Bib Necklace

Small Bakelite Carved Tortoise Shell Purse Pin

This original creation was designed using a piece of Bakelite from my collection that I got from a 1930?s seamstress? estate in New York. She worked for H.J. Green Co. Furrier???s Supplies on West 30th St. These parts were mostly all one of a kind items or pieces from her ordering board. Many pieces in this lot were just that...pieces and samples. Some had holes in them without a finding, while others were buttons or purse clasps or fur clips. This fabulous pin is made to resemble the vintage Lucite purses. It is a translucent reddish brown tortoise shell color with a deeply carved sunflower. the center of the flower is painted black. It has red Bakelite stepped feet. The purse handle is made of leather. It measures 1 3/4 in. in.long x 1 1/2 in. high including the handle.. Excellent condition and one of a kind design that you will not see again. A wonderful and unique addition for your collection.

 *Extreme Sparkle* Large Bakelite Stardust Purse Pin

This original creation was designed using a piece of Bakelite from my collection that I got from a 1930?s seamstress? estate in New York. She worked for H.J. Green Co. Furrier?s Supplies on West 30th St. These parts were mostly all one of a kind items or pieces from her ordering board. Many pieces in this lot were just that...pieces and samples. Some had holes in them without a finding, while others were buttons or purse clasps or fur clips. This fabulous pin is made to resemble the vintage Lucite purses. It is a piece of Stardust Bakelite (a hard to find color which consists of gold sparkles mixed into the apple juice Bakelite). This particular piece has extreme sparkle and is absolutely gorgeous. It has a Bakelite bow type design which is a mottled chartreuse color with a blue moon center. The purse handle is made of leather. It measures 2 1/2 in. in.tall x 1 1/ 2 in. wide including the handle. Excellent condition. A one of a kind design that you will not see again. A wonderful unique addition for your collection.

CoLoRFuL BAKELITE CRIB TOY CRIBTOY

Here is a wonderful one of a kind Bakelite crib toy. It is the latest of my designs. I have designed it exactly the way the old Tykie Toys were manufactured. It is made from ALL OLD Bakelite parts and measures 4 1/2 in. tall (not including the chain). The body is a chunky round piece of Bakelite that is marbled red with yellow buttons. There is a translucent greenish butterscotch collar around it's yellow neck .The arms are apple cider swirl and blue moon beads. There is a thick butterscotch bead between the body and the legs. The legs are blue moon swirl. mint green, red, and apple cider swirl beads with chartreuse flower ruffles. The Bakelite head is a peachy orange swirl. The hat is pink coral topped with a yellow flower shape. It is in excellent condition.

2 BAKELITE PINS Ladies Hat & Purse

2 adorable Bakelite pins made from vintage Bakelite parts. Another of my original designs. The hat has a cluster of fruits (cherries and grapes) and leaves and measures about 1 3/8 in. in diameter. The purse is laminated yellow on the front and red on the back. It has Chartreuse flowers on either end with blue moon ball feet. It has hand painted detail with a blue and white plastic flower design as a faux closure. It dangles from an orange Bakelite bar pin with a red metal chain. It dangles down 2 3/4 in. and is 1 1/4 in wide. Excellent condition.

Googley-eyed BAKELITE RABBIT w/Basket PIN

Here is a chubby Bakelite rabbit pin in yellow,swirly marbled brownish red, rust and mint. He comes with a little woven basket to carry those Easter Eggs in. He has hand painted detail, celluloid flowers on his chest and big googley movable eyes. I created him using vintage Bakelite parts from the 1930s (except the basket). Measures 2 1/2 in. Excellent condition.

BAKELITE LUCITE EYEGLASS * SUNGLASS HOLDER

I have heard these called eyeglass chains, eyeglass leashes or strings and also peeper keepers. I love that name, but I did not think if I put it in the title anyone would know what they were...no matter what you call them, this one is a fantastic combination of vintage beads. I designed it to go with everything. It?s so colorful!! Colors include (Bakelite: translucent red, opaque swirly dark blue green and turquoise...Lucite: yellow, amber, green and red). It is made up of vintage Bakelite and Lucite beads and buttons. The black base beads are from the 1920?s and were used on beaded purses. It is light in weight and measures approximately 28 in. long. Strung on 49 strands of flexible wire, it does not kink and is strong. An ?S? hook at the end converts the chain into a necklace. When worn as an eyeglass chain, remove the hook by opening it slightly. Condition is perfect.

BAKELITE SCHOOL DAYS CHARM NECKLACE

Here is a whimsical necklace with the SCHOOL DAYS theme. Original ones cost in the many hundreds of dollars. Designed using ALL VINTAGE Bakelite parts. Charms include a chalk board, a ruler, a clock, a letter cube with the word CAT and a picture of a cat on it and the poor little Dunce. All have hand painted detail.
