1920s Extra Rare with Original Tag Here is one really OUTSTANDING vintage hard to find item. I have never seen one like this before.....have you? It is the cutest silk doll with a ribbon body, arms, bow and hat in a gorgeous bright orange. He flapper face is in fabulous condition as is the rest of her. Her hands and feet are metal. There is a tag inside the back of the button head pinback. It says KING BUTTON WORKS Pat Pend N.Y.C. She has a dark colored rhinestone belly button. I am not sure what it was originally for....to wear as decoration? Advertising? Whatever it was meant for it’s one fine button pinback item not to be missed! It measures approx. 4 in. The center of the flower is a nice red dome dot. It has a metal loop shank. It is about 1/2 in. chunky x 1 1/4 in. in diameter. It is in excellent condition. A fabulous addition for any button collection.

It is a fabulous raised design of a Standard Poodle dog that appears to be over washed and has gradient shades of dark pink to light pink as it goes to the center. The poodle dog’s haircut is a standard cut for the poodle and is in a cream and pink speckly color made to give it texture. It measures 1 1/2 in. in diameter. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks (a slight crazing on the raised shank).

Great Fall colors...The base button is a warm chocolate brown with a thumbprint design (one on each side of the triangle and in-between are 3 different colored bakelite dots....one translucent swirl light olive green, one light pea green mottled with brown and yellow and the third one is a beautiful green with darker green swirl. It has a metal loop shank. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks in the Bakelite. Measures approx. 1 7/8 in.

Applied celluloid shank in the same color as the rippled edge. Measures 1 7/8 in. large.

This was a rarity to have 5 of the same button, but all in different sizes with the largest measuring 1 1/2 in. and the smallest measuring 5/8 in. All with metal loop shanks. I spent many hours, after store hours, going through thousands of buttons and hand picked an assorted grouping of beautiful buttons. This is a molded Celluloid button that is hollow inside and has a cream Celluloid back (there is a light pinkish stained curved line on the cream back). It is a molded dark blue Celluloid flower button. It is one of the larger buttons I found there. It measures approx. 1 5/16 in. across. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

I spent many hours, after store hours, going through thousands of buttons and hand picked an assorted grouping of beautiful buttons. This is a buffed (I believe that is the term used for these) pink Celluloid flower button. It is a darker pink flower with lighter pink petals so the flower really stands out. It has a cream celluloid back. It measures approx. 1 1/8 in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

I have seen this design in one color in Bakelite, but never in 2 colors in Celluloid. His smile and his eyes are carved into the creamy French Ivory color, while the top of the button is black. You sew it through the eyes. He just is sooooo happy-grinning from ear to ear! Measures 1 in. across. Excellent condition. A rare one to add to your collection.

Item: EI-3497 6 Cream Corn TINY BAKELITE DICE BUTTONS on Ultra Kraft Card 6 Bakelite dice buttons on an ULTRA KRAFT card. These are unusual because they only feature 2s and 6s on the sides. They are in very good condition with the exception of the bottom right button which shows some surface scratches and one side appears to not have been dotted. Still in all these are pretty cool and unusual buttons. Item: EI-1875 Thick Figural BOW BAKELITE STARDUST BUTTON This one is from my collection that I got from a 1930's seamstresses estate in New York. She worked for H.J. Green Co. Furrier's Supplies on West 30th St. These were mostly all one of a kind from her ordering board. It is a fabulous Stardust button which is a rare color of Bakelite. It consists of Apple Juice Bakelite with gold glitter embedded in it. This button is in the shape a large chunky bow and is carved to form that design. It is so beautiful because it is one thick and chunky piece of Bakelite. It measures 1 7/8 in x 1 in. and is 5/16 in. thick. Excellent condition and would be a wonderful and unique addition for your collection.
